I'm Alex Morgan
With over twelve years behind the lens, I've built my career on one simple belief: a great headshot isn't just a picture — it's an invitation. Casting directors spend seconds scanning thumbnails. Your headshot needs to stop the scroll and say something real.
I started out shooting editorial and commercial work, but fell in love with the intimacy of the headshot session. It's just you, me, and the light. No distractions. Every session is a collaboration — I'm not here to impose a look, but to help you find the angles and expressions that feel authentically you.
My studio in Los Angeles is a calm, light-filled space where actors can relax and experiment. I shoot both studio and natural light, and every session includes guidance on wardrobe, expression, and type so you walk away with a versatile portfolio that works across commercial, theatrical, and character submissions.

What I Believe
Authenticity Over Polish
The headshots that book are the ones where the actor looks present — not posed. I prioritize real expression over retouching.
Light Is Everything
I sculpt with light. Whether it's soft window glow or precise studio key, lighting makes the difference between flat and magnetic.
You Set The Pace
No rushing, no pressure. Sessions run two hours minimum so we have space to experiment, review, and refine together.
Casting-Ready Results
Every image is formatted to industry standards — 8×10 crop, proper headroom, and compliant with Actors Access and LA Casting specs.
